Here, Look 1.0.3 Released
It started with a couple of tweets:
@Herelookapp great app. Would love if somehow I could pic photos and it would hold those even after I get out of the app.— Ryan Hargrave (@ryanhargrave) July 7, 2014
@HereLookApp picking 3 out of 20 photos is quick. But standing in front of them picking 30 out of 100 is painful :)— Ryan Hargrave (@ryanhargrave) July 7, 2014
That seemed like a pretty straightforward thing to add, and probably quite nice to have. Right on both counts.
Showing a friend those great pictures from last night’s [game / party / show / heist] is fine. But you’ll often want to show someone else the same photos. Or lots of someones.
So we’re helping out with that. You show a photo or three, and we remember that selection. The next time you see the Albums screen, that group is listed in with other Recently-Shared Sets. Each is labeled with the date you last shared it, and the number of photos within.
When you tap one of those saved sets, Here, Look pre-selects the photos within. You’re one tap away from showing them off again.
The most-recently-shown set is listed first, we’ll remember up to 8 groups of photos (so we never take more than 2 lines on an iPhone screen), and… actually, that’s it. It’s just there, and it works, and I’m liking it a lot.
